The Enfield Clock Company

Enfield was one of Britain's best-loved clock manufacturers of the twentieth century, producing reliable mechanical clocks for homes across the country. Their movements are robust, practical and well regarded today — this example carries the classic Enfield qualities: solid English engineering, a warm wooden case and a satisfying gong strike.

Movement

Powered by an original Enfield 8-day mechanical twin-train movement, stamped ENFIELD, England. It strikes the hours on a coil gong, is wound by key and only needs winding once a week.
