A handsome antique French brass carriage clock retailed by Bracher & Sydenham of Reading, featuring a quality mechanical movement, bevelled glass panels and elegant shaped carry handle.

This is a particularly attractive example with a warm aged brass finish, visible movement through the side panels and a top viewing aperture displaying the platform escapement. The decorative handle design gives the clock a refined Edwardian character that displays beautifully in a study, office or interior setting.

The movement has been fully serviced by Mahn & Co Clocks. It has been dismantled, cleaned, reassembled, lubricated and regulated for timekeeping. The clock is running well and keeping good time.

Condition

Presented in very good serviced antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age. The brass case has been sympathetically cleaned while retaining an attractive mellow patina.

Please note there is a small chip/nibble to one bevelled side glass panel visible in the photographs. This does not affect the operation or display of the clock.

The movement is running well and keeping good time following servicing.
