The attractive dial combines a silvered chapter ring with bold black Arabic numerals and a contrasting wooden centre, instantly readable and full of period charm. Pierced hands, a bright metal bezel and a hinged glazed door complete a classic look that suits both traditional and contemporary interiors — a clock you'll want to show off, not tuck away.

Mechanical Movement

This is where real craftsmanship shows. The quality British-made twin-train movement has been fully dismantled, cleaned, inspected, reassembled and correctly lubricated using Novostar oil on the mainsprings and synthetic clock oil on the pivots — the same meticulous process behind every clock we release. It has been thoroughly tested following servicing and is running and striking beautifully, ready to perform in its new home from day one.

The clock strikes the hours on its traditional coiled gong, filling the room with a warm, resonant tone that modern quartz clocks simply cannot replicate. It is wound through the two apertures on the dial using the supplied key — a satisfying weekly ritual that's part of the pleasure of owning a genuine mechanical timepiece.
