It is a classic piece of inter-war design: restrained, beautifully proportioned and just decorative enough.\n    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n    \u003cp\u003e\n      The large silvered chapter ring is especially striking, with bold stylised black Arabic numerals surrounding an open centre which allows the timber of the case to form part of the dial itself.
